Hi Katherine

Being in charge of Frontierland can be a big mouthfull from time to time. But all in all, you have to love Disney, love being surrounded by young people (cast members) and enjoy helping out the demanding clients.

The Teamleaders of Frontierland, there are 5 of us, are in charge of the land, 80 cast members during winter, 130 cast members during the summer. We have to make sure that the attractions are operationnal, that we have enough cast members, and inform our cm's about the latest news every day.

We always have a minimum of guest carried to respect according to the numbers of clients on a daily basis. If we don't have enough clients visiting our attractions, we have to find creative ways to make them more attractive. We also have to take care of the wages, the plannings, the trainings and the holidays for all our cast members. There are soooo many things, that I could just go on and on, but I don't want to bore you.

Disney is a passion, and you should not work there unless you love it.

It sounds like you're very busy. I worked for almost thirteen years for Imagineering in Glendale. My first job was the secretary for the Adventureland team for Disneyland Paris.

So, I saw your park on paper long before it existed.

It was a fun job.
